YYY began as a physical print publication responding to and highlighting the unique facets of culture quintessential to our city. In the pages of our zine, readers will find many ways of engaging with the city – from interviews with different characters, such as local culinary legends to reviews of recent exhibitions . In each issue, YYY invites readers to engage with the unapologetic charm of our city and discover its beautiful quirks.

This exploration and admiration for the city we live in naturally evolved into the organisation of our multidisciplinary events. Our events are celebrations of the diverse creatives and cultural nuances we unearth, providing a platform to showcase the extraordinary talent within the city. They play a pivotal role in cultivating a network of like-minded people, and what began as a pocket-sized magazine organically grew into a life-size community. We expect YYY to continue evolving, adapting, and responding to changing needs and surroundings while unwaveringly serving its primary function as a celebration of culture in whatever capacity is necessary.
