S+C MAGAZINE
Strawberries and Creem published their first editorial magazine, journeying back to the roots of Notting Hill Carnival, exploring its origins in Trinidad and Tobago and tracing how it evolved into an event that feels so uniquely London. To tell this story we connected with a wide range of voices for whom Carnival is more than just a party—it’s a way of life. In this project, I took full creative leadership of the magazine, overseeing everything from photoshoots to graphic design. I handled all research and writing of articles, directing producing, and content licensing.
These two interviews respectively feature DJ and venue owner Bradley Zero, as well as RnB singer and party maker Maxi Millz. These short-form videos were created for Instagram as part of longer interviews, which can be found on the Strawberries and Creem YouTube channel. I directed and produced both the interviews and the photoshoots as accompanying content for the magazine.
